How foreign is domestic energy?
« on: October 25, 2012, 05:54:38 pm »
Xander Vagg from American Security Project asks:

In Hilary Clinton's "Energy Diplomacy in the Twenty-First Century" speech, the Secretary outlined energy’s importance to American foreign policy, describing it as an issue that touches on wealth and power, economic development and the environment, and political stability. What does "Energy Diplomacy" mean to you, and would it be a priority for your administration given the incredible array of American interests abroad? What is the relationship between our domestic energy resources and our ability to conduct a smarter, modern foreign policy?
